What changed with the San Francisco 49ers? I can only think of one thing. The leadership, the Coach, the Mentor. A change in leadership and the mentality of a team has made all the difference for this team. Jim Harbaugh is a tough hard nose coach that cares. The type of coach that you hate when you play against them because you think they are cocky and they just seem to get a rise out of you by the way they talk. But the type of coach you absolutely love when you play for them. You will run through a brick wall for them if they asked you, because you know they would do the same for you!
I had the opportunity to play against Jim’s father in college when he coached at Western Kentucky. He was no different and I see where the Harbaugh boys get their competitive nature. They are undoubtedly a football family if I have ever seen one. What do they all have in common? They are all straight shooters and they truly care about their organization and their team. They are true mentors to their players.
